Section 2 Basic Requirements for Product Packaging

First, the overall requirements of commodity packaging

(I) The need to adapt to various circulation conditions

To ensure the safety of commodities in the circulation process, commodity packaging should have a certain strength, solid, firm and durable. For different modes of transport and means of transport, there should also be selective use of appropriate packaging containers and technical processes. In short, the entire package should be adapted to the storage and transportation conditions and strength requirements in the circulation area.

Commodity packaging must adopt corresponding materials and technologies according to the characteristics of the goods, so that the packaging fully meets the requirements of the physical and chemical properties of the goods.

Commodity packaging must be standardized, that is, the packaging volume (weight), packaging materials, structural design, size, printing marks, terminology, and packaging methods of the packaging of goods should be stipulated in a unified manner, and gradually be serialized and generalized. (4) Packaging should be "appropriate and moderate"

For sales and packaging, the size of the packaging container is compatible with the contents, and the packaging cost should be consistent with the contents. Excessive reserved space and excessively high packaging costs as a percentage of the total value of goods damage consumers' interests and mislead consumers into over-packaging.

(5) Commodity packaging should be green and environmentally friendly

The green and environmental protection requirements for commodity packaging should be understood from two aspects: First, the materials, containers, and technology should be safe and sanitary for the goods and consumers. Secondly, the packaging techniques, material containers, etc. are safe and green for the environment. In the selection of materials and production, the principles of sustainable development are followed, and energy conservation, low consumption, high functionality, pollution prevention, and sustainable recycling can be used. Or it can safely degrade after being discarded.

Second, the technical requirements of commodity packaging

(A) The concept of commodity packaging technology

Commodity packaging technology refers to the technical measures against internal and external factors that affect quality in order to prevent the loss of goods and quality in the circulation of goods. It is also called the method of product packaging protection.

(II) Requirements for Commodity Packaging Technology

The external factors that affect the quality of goods are divided into physical, chemical and biological factors. Commodity packaging protection technology is precisely the specific preventive measures taken for the above factors affecting the internal and external factors of product quality.
