BZ oscillation reaction

1 Experimental purpose 1) Understand the basic principle of BZ (Belousov-Zhabotinski) reaction. 2) Observe the chemical oscillation phenomenon. 3) Practice the processing of experimental data and drawing with a microcomputer. 2 Experimental principle The so-called chemical oscillation is the periodic changes of certain physical quantities (such as the concentration of a component) in the reaction system with time. The BZ system refers to a system composed of bromate and organic matter in an acidic medium with or without metal ion catalyst. It was discovered by Soviet scientist Belousov, and was named after Zhabotinski. RJFiela, E. Koros, R. Noyes and others have explained the BZ oscillation reaction through experiments, called FKN mechanism. The BrO ~ Ce + 4 ~ CH2 (COOH) 2 ~ H2SO4 system is taken as an example to illustrate.
