This patent relates to vacuum-closed cans and methods of packaging cans, and more particularly to packaging coffee-like dry granular foods. The can has an easily tearable foil attached to one end, preferably a belt along the circumference. The width of the band is greater than 2.5 mm, preferably 3.4 mm. The thickness of the foil film is preferably 80-120 μm, preferably 100 μm, and it is preferable to use a hot-melt polyvinyl chloride film to stick the foil film to one end of the can.
