Experimental principle

The burning of the candle consumes oxygen in the air, and when the candle consumes the oxygen in the cup, the candle goes out. Because the oxygen in the cup was consumed, the air pressure was reduced, and the air pressure outside the cup was large, and the water was squeezed into the cup. To put it simply, the oxygen in the cup is gone, and the water fills the original oxygen position.
