The velveteen fabric has the following characteristics:

The cross-sectional coverage of the fluff is the sum of the cross-sectional area of ​​the fluff and the total area of ​​the ground fabric. The cross-section coverage of the pile is high, indicating that the fullness of the suede is good.

2, suede height

The suede height refers to the average height of a single pile of wool on the surface of the fabric after cutting. When the height of the fluff is high, the suede is straight and the elasticity is poor, but the suede is relatively full.

3, suede fullness

The fullness of the suede refers to the volume of the fluff on the floor per unit area. It contains both the coverage of the fluff and the height of the fluff. The unit of suede fullness is "close". The higher the "closed" number, the more full the suede. The suede fullness of the common weft velvet is about 11 inches, and the fullness of the velveteen suede is about 15 meters.

4, fluff consolidation tightness

The pile consolidation tightness is the degree to which the pile yarn is squeezed by the ground warp and the pile warp yarn in the fabric structure. The greater the consolidation tightness, the better the knot fastness is, and the less likely it is to remove hair. The consolidation tightness of the weft velvet is expressed by the tissue tightness in the direction of the weft yarn, and its value is equal to the warp tightness of the fabric plus the tightness of the interlacing point of the pile yarn and the warp yarn. The velvety consolidation of the velveteen yarn indicates the degree to which the velve warp yarn is squeezed by the weft yarn in the woven fabric.

5, suede coverage uniformity

The suede coverage uniformity is expressed as the ratio of the warp and weft spacing of the pile surface. It is an important indicator of whether you can get a good velvety style. The coverage uniformity of the fluff is as close as possible to 100%. When the index is equal to 100%, it means that the pitch of the fluff and the warp and weft are equal. At this time, the pile fluff is evenly distributed, full and without shadow, and has a good velvety style.

The velveteen fabric is used for interior decoration mainly for the surface of the wall or the cylinder and the seat cushion of the furniture. In recent years, it has mainly been used in the decoration of high-end cars. The real high-end cars are not made of leather, but velveteen.
