At present, many of the goods that are required to be refrigerated, such as aquatic products, are mostly disposed of using expanded polystyrene containers after a single use. For this reason, the food distribution industry expects to develop new storage container containers that are durable and that can reduce waste container disposal costs and reuse many times.

The new vessel developed by Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd. has achieved the goal of being repeatedly used, changing the past from the one-off logistics to the reusable logistics system. Now, since the new container can be reused about 300 times, the circulation cost of the cargo delivery container is reduced by about 50%, and at the same time, the disposal cost of the delivery container is also greatly reduced, only about 1% in the past.
