Distrupol Introduces Higher Transparency 5-layer Barrier Film

Recently, the French packaging company IMPRISAC cooperated with Distrupol to produce a new type of 5-layer barrier film, which fully improved the transparency of the film. Distrupol is a member company of Univar, the world's leading supplier of European polymers, and a solution provider. The ability to provide comprehensive solutions is why IMPRISAC chose to cooperate with them.

The barrier film uses Aquafil Technopolymers Aquamid AQL 34 as material. The film structure is PE/PA/PE and PP/PA/PP, and the core layer uses a PA 6 (plastic material) with a viscosity of 3.4 and unprocessed. This PA 6 has a high machinability and good transparency, meeting all the performance and aesthetic standards of the IMPRISAC film core layer.

Barrier diaphragms are used in co-extrusion and blow-molding processes and are widely used in packaging food industries where they require fresh foods that are resistant to air, humidity, and odors. The comprehensive improvement of the transparency of the barrier film has enhanced the shelf display effect of the product and increased the attractiveness of consumers' purchase.
