However, using the same concentration of sulfuric acid solution, leaching under high temperature and high pressure (246 ℃, 3.6MPa), only a small amount of iron enters the solution and the leaching rate of nickel and cobalt exceeds 95%. The content of alkaline oxidation in the ore is quite low, and it is not necessary to consume a large amount of sulfuric acid to neutralize the alkaline oxide with high content in the ore. The amount of sulfuric acid for pressure leaching is 22.5% per ton of dry concentrate. The leaching slag contains 51% iron and can be used as raw material for iron making. The leaching solution is sent to a precipitation autoclave (118-121 ° C, pressure 1 MPa) to precipitate nickel, cobalt, copper and other sulfides through hydrogen sulfide precipitation. The output contains 55% Ni, 5.9% Co, and 1.0% Cu sulfide concentrate, which is sent to the refinery for further refining.
